The Jack Rose (JR), situated in the heart of Rosebank, is the ideal location for your accommodation. Safe parking on the property as well as easy access to transport if needed. Affordability is also a key consideration.

ASEAN Film Festival

In collaboration with the diplomatic missions of Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, The Bioscope will be hosting the Asean Film Festival from 17-19 November 2023. Entrance is free but reservations are essential.

Lynn’s business skyrockets and the money starts to flood in as scores of students offer her cold hard cash in exchange for exam answers.
One day, Lynn is offered the opportunity to make millions of Baht proposed by two of the students she had assisted. However, assistance will be needed and she has to convince another genius to assist her.
What does Lynn have to do to convince him to overcome his moral dilemma and help them? How BAD will this GENIUS become?

‘Eraser’ is a journey of survival. It is a tale of love and a family with different cultural beliefs.
It focuses on respect and humanity united by love. One starry night two females manage to escape from the the place where they have been staying. One is the mother – Ah Yoke, 48 holding onto an old suitcase while her other hand grasps onto her daughter. The other is 15-year-old Xiao Li.
Ah Yoke is battered and bruised. She’s escaping from her brutish, abusive husband. Luckily, the two of them are rescued by a tombstone maker who is driving by. To tell you more would be to spoil the tale.
Safe to say, however, this film depicts the concept of unconditional love, mutual respect and patriotism through a simple tool – Malaysia flag eraser. “If friction persists between races, the country will gradually diminish.”

Myanmar Film Selection: ‘The Attachment’
