Money, vengeance and the coldest of hearts

Guy Ritchie has never shied away from violence and neither has his compatriot, Jason Statham and yet they have created a blockbuster, filled with twists and turns, that is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat. ‘Wrath of Man’, which opens this weekend (30 April), is best seen on the Big Screen complete with surround sound to encapsulate all the action.

Starring: Jason Statham, Holt McCallany, Josh Hartnett, Jeffrey Donovan, Scott Eastwood, Andy Garcia

‘Revenge is best served cold’

All too often we hear of cash truck heists, and I for one have often wondered whether there isn’t an inside informant leaking exact locations and pick-up times. Nicolas Boukhrief’s 2004 ‘Le Convoyeur’, highlighted this very point and now with Guy Ritchie at the helm and Boukhrief updating the theme, ‘Wrath of Man’ zaps the viewer from the outset.

Statham takes on the role of ‘H’, a man with many secrets, who applies for a role as an armed guard with a cash collection security company. Why he’s there and who he really is, I am certainly not going to divulge.

Safe to say, however, I can guarantee you will be enthralled. Violence and bloodshed is the name of the game, so ‘Wrath of Man’ is definitely not for the sensitive viewer, but for everyone else it is an absolute MUST SEE!
