Our gratitude to the security teams and SAPS over this tumultuous time as well as the Rosebank Management District (RMD) cannot be expressed in words. The hours spent in the extreme cold protecting our streets and Malls cannot be taken for granted. THANK YOU one and all for ‘going above and beyond’.
As Aesop (well-known for his fables) stated: “No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted”… and Scott Adams (creator of the Dilbert comic strip) continues: “Remember, there’s no such thing as a small act 0f kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end”.
Every selfless act performed by these security personnel under RMD’s jurisdiction provides those who visit or reside in the community with peace of mind whether walking through the tree-lined streets, shopping in the various precincts or tucked up safely in their beds at night.
Freshly prepared
Last weekend (16 – 18 July), we expressed our thanks by providing the security personnel on duty at night with a hot cup of soup freshly prepared by Tulani on a daily basis. Using the the freshest ingredients, a different soup was on offer each day and every hearty cup was served with thick slices of bread. As some of the team members couldn’t leave their posts, roasting pans were filled for easier transportation.
